The Humboldt County Information Center is in the East Hall of the Convention Center, 
the old Star Casino, at 50 West Winnemucca Blvd. The staff is a treasurer-trove of knowledge and provides full-service visitor information for all of Humboldt County, including McDermitt, Orovada and Denio.
Across the hall is the Buckaroo Hall of Fame, a display of authentic 19th and 
20th century buckaroo life. Displays show traditional working gear like chaps, riatas and saddles, along with paintings, sculptures, photos and drawings. Admission is free and includes admission to the William Humphreys Big Game Collection, more than 53 big game specimens from around the world, including a separate Museum of Sheep and Goats of the World.
