The Geraghty property was six small antiquated houses overgrown and untended when the Ely Renaissance Society bought it and began its transformation into the intriguing and inviting Renaissance Village in northwestern Ely.
These small houses have been restored to showcase the ethnic cultures of the people who settled here, nine unique museums depicting the turn of the century of Ely, each representing a different heritage.
The Ely Farmer’s Market is held here in the late summer, as are other events and activities throughout the year, including the July Art/Wine Walk which celebrates local Nevada artists and their work.
The Village is open from the third weekend in May to the third weekend in September on Friday and Saturdays 10 am to 4 pm.
