Genoa was established as a trading post in 1851 and the Genoa Bar & Saloon, “Nevada’s Oldest Thirst Parlor” came in 1853. Since that time the saloon has remained Genoa’s leading purveyor of spirits and revelry and has become the oldest operating saloon in Nevada. We’re a little calmer than we were in pioneer times, but we’re just as welcoming. Come find out for yourself what makes us unique.
